Peru duck hunting is soon to become one of our featured destinations for the serious waterfowler who is ready for a new high volume adventure. We are confident that Peru dove hunting, while not as high volume as Argentina or Uruguay, will also become a favorite.
Peru goose hunting can be added to the list as well, for those who desire a shot at a once in a lifetime trophy!
You will be hunting Andean Geese Chloephaga melanoptera. These birds belong to the goose, swan, and duck family—Anatidae to be exact. The subfamily that this animal belongs to is called the Tadorninae. For those who are concerned…this bird is NOT endangered. In fact, it has been placed in the LC status—which means least concern.
We set no limits on how many Andean geese you can shoot, but your body will…you will only be able to spend a few hours at 15,550 feet before you will be ready to descend to a lower altitude for duck and quail hunting.

All of our shooting venues, including Peru dove hutnting, are all located conveniently to our various lodging facilities. We even offer an intermountiain goose hunting lodge that give shooters the opportunity to acclimate to the altitude around 8,000 feet before making the summit to 15,550—where the air is rare—but not dangerous if one has acclimated properly. The duck hunting season is Peru runs from March to September for migratory ducks and May to September for non-migratory birds. Most of the ducks you will see in Peru belong to the teal family.
